Microsoft previews fine-tuned Sales Qualification Agent for Dynamics 365 Sales

A Microsoft 365 Message Center notice said organizations will be able to power the Sales Qualification Agent and Copilot features with their own model trained on their data, with public preview from July 1, 2026.

What we are seeing

Microsoft posted Message Center item MC1393245 on June 16 announcing a fine-tuned option for the Dynamics 365 Sales Qualification Agent. Organizations will be able to use their own AI model, trained on their own data, to power the agent and related Copilot capabilities, and adjust its behavior for customer interactions. Public preview was scheduled for July 1, 2026, and the notice listed no general availability date. No admin action was required. The Sales Qualification Agent itself reached general availability in October 2025 as part of the 2025 release wave 2, where it researches leads and drafts outreach for seller review.
