Salesforce introduces Koa Decisions, the next version of its HyperClassifier model

Salesforce says Koa Decisions reads a request and a list of categories and returns a choice in one step. It is the next version of HyperClassifier, the routing model inside Agentforce, and adds image and audio support.

On November 6, 2026, Salesforce published a post introducing Koa Decisions, which it describes as the next version of its HyperClassifier model. HyperClassifier routes each inquiry to the part of an Agentforce agent built to handle it. Koa Decisions reads a request and a list of categories defined by the user and makes a decision in a single step. Salesforce says the goal is to let agents pick a workflow, answer yes or no, or assign a score without calling a larger model for every task.

The details

  • Salesforce says the model was built by applying its own training techniques to Google's Gemma, an open-weight model.
  • Koa Decisions adds multimodal support for images and audio, according to the post.
  • Salesforce reports roughly 26 milliseconds per routing request in Agentforce, compared with about 1.4 seconds for a general-purpose LLM.
  • The company plans to extend the model into flows, Apex and prompt templates, plus an API for developers.
  • A demo can be run with a Trailhead account, and a research paper accompanies the post.

Context

Koa Decisions joins the Koa family of Salesforce models, which includes the CRM reasoning model built on NVIDIA Nemotron that Salesforce announced on September 15, 2026.

Not disclosed

  • Dates for the flows, Apex, prompt template and API extensions.
  • Pricing for the API.
  • Which Agentforce editions receive the model first.
