Salesforce Winter '27 adds a Forecasting Agent and Momentum conversation capture

Salesforce's Winter '27 Sales release notes were updated the week of October 19, 2026 with Forecasting Agent and a new Momentum section. Forecasting Agent supports the forecasting cycle inside existing forecast workflows and is turned on from Forecast Settings in Setup. Momentum captures recorded video calls according to an organization's recording, consent, privacy and exclusion settings, relates them to participants and opportunity or account records, and stores reusable insight fragments across calls. It is activated from Salesforce Go after connecting calendar and conferencing providers.

• Forecasting Agent requires Enterprise or Unlimited editions with the Agentforce for Sales add-on, or Agentforce 1 Edition.
• Momentum requires Enterprise, Performance or Unlimited editions with the Agentforce for Sales add-on, or Agentforce 1 Sales Edition.
• Momentum is not compatible with Einstein Activity Capture or Einstein Conversation Insights, according to the notes.
• Momentum is not yet fully supported in Japanese.

Context

Salesforce previewed its Winter '27 release on August 31, 2026 with marketing items such as a Marketing Goals Agent, and introduced Core, Advanced and Max editions with bundled Agentforce on September 3, 2026. At Dreamforce on September 28, 2026 it detailed agent releases including Piper and Hunter. Salesforce added Agent Evals and cost controls to Agent Fabric on October 27, 2026.
