Microsoft's release plan lists general availability on July 30, 2026 for two updates to the Sales Opportunity Agent, which the plan also refers to as the Sales Close Agent. Delta-first guidance tells sellers what changed between the previous and latest research without manual comparison. The Sales agent integration lets sellers ask questions about opportunity research in context. Earlier in July, Microsoft made a redesigned Opportunity Research page generally available, built around deal status, priorities and next actions.
