In a July 21, 2026 blog post by Mike Morton, VP of Dynamics 365 Customer Experience, Microsoft announced that Dynamics 365 Sales and its first-party agents, including the Sales Qualification Agent and Sales Opportunity Agent, can be extended with partner Model Context Protocol servers. Because these agents are built on Copilot Studio, MCP tools plug in natively, and the same partner servers also work with custom agents built in Copilot Studio. The post names seven launch partners: ZoomInfo, Dun & Bradstreet, LeadIQ, Draup, Gong, Enlyft and HG Insights. Microsoft says customers who already subscribe to these services can use them in agent workflows without new CRM integrations or added licensing.
The details
- ZoomInfo connects through its GTM.ai layer, which the post says surfaces 400 million contacts, 100 million companies and 120 million direct dials inside Dynamics 365.
- Dun & Bradstreet provides its D&B Commercial Graph MCP server, anchored on the D-U-N-S Number.
- LeadIQ acts as a knowledge source inside the Sales Qualification Agent, adding verified work emails and phone numbers to a lead's Deeper insights.
- Draup adds signals such as hiring surges, funding events, IT spend shifts and executive moves to the Sales Qualification Agent.
- Gong supplies account and deal insights such as objections, risks and agreed next steps; Enlyft and HG Insights add technology adoption and market context.
- Partners can certify MCP servers to make them available to Dynamics 365 Sales customers through Copilot Studio.
Context
This follows Microsoft's June 16, 2026 general availability of Dynamics 365 Sales plug-ins for Copilot Cowork and its November 2025 Ignite announcement of a Sales Development Agent and Dynamics 365 Sales MCP updates. Three weeks later, on August 11, ZoomInfo announced its GTM MCP connector for Copilot Studio. Microsoft followed in October with 30 CRM skills and a preview of the Sales Development Agent.
