Dynamics 365 Sales previews custom research for its Sales Qualification Agent
Microsoft's release plan lists a public preview starting November 1, 2025 that lets admins configure custom research for the Dynamics 365 Sales Qualification Agent using Copilot Studio knowledge sources, connectors and MCP servers.
The 2025 release wave 2 plan for Dynamics 365 Sales lists custom research for the Sales Qualification Agent as entering public preview on November 1, 2025. The feature extends the agent's built-in research on company overviews, finances, news and competitors with organization-specific data. Microsoft says sources can include regulatory filings, proprietary databases and curated third-party subscriptions. Configuration uses knowledge sources, connectors and MCP servers available in Copilot Studio, and admins can test the output before publishing.
