Dynamics 365 Sales makes Sales Qualification Agent generally available

Microsoft's release plan lists October 31, 2025 as the general availability date for the Sales Qualification Agent in Dynamics 365 Sales. According to the plan, the agent autonomously researches every lead, builds lead and company profiles, drafts and sends personalized outreach, sends reminders and follow-ups, analyzes replies for purchase intent, and hands leads that fit the ideal customer criteria to sellers. Competitor highlights, email address validation, and custom public web sources for research reached general availability on the same date. The feature page carries a note that customers currently cannot see the feature because of an active live site issue.

Context

Microsoft announced the Sales Development Agent and Dynamics 365 Sales MCP updates at Ignite on November 18, 2025, weeks after this general availability date. In 2026 it made Dynamics 365 Sales plug-ins for Copilot Cowork generally available, added partner MCP servers to Sales agents, previewed Dynamics 365 Activate for migrations, and added CRM skills, all covered by ForgeX Research.
