StackAdapt announced expanded audio advertising capabilities on October 15, 2026 for streaming music, digital radio and podcasts. The company says podcast show-level targeting and exclusions, audio type and category controls and dedicated content reporting are now available within its existing audio workflow. Advertisers can search and filter a catalog of more than 530,000 podcast shows to build inclusion or exclusion lists, with details such as title, author, category and artwork. StackAdapt says targeting and reporting use consistent audio type definitions so advertisers can compare the environments they selected at setup with where ads ran.
The details
- Audio type targeting lets advertisers select streaming music, digital radio or podcasts.
- Category options include Comedy, News and True Crime for podcasts and Blues, Pop/Top 40 and Rock for music, for inclusion or exclusion.
- Reporting breaks delivery down from campaign and audio type to content genre and individual podcast show.
- Greg Joseph, VP of inventory development, is quoted in the announcement.
- StackAdapt says the tools reduce reliance on manually curated inventory packages and custom reporting.
