Pipedrive releases Projects API v2 with boards, phases, tasks and templates

Pipedrive added Projects API v2 on May 21, 2026, covering projects, boards, phases, tasks, read-only templates and project fields, following project webhook support added on April 10, 2026.

On May 21, 2026, Pipedrive made its projects domain available in API v2. The release adds create, read, update, delete and archive endpoints for projects and full endpoint sets for boards, phases and tasks, along with read-only template endpoints and project field endpoints. It follows an April 10, 2026 changelog entry that added webhook v2 events for projects, project tasks, project boards, project phases, deal installments and deal products. Project field endpoints are also included, and timestamps across the projects domain are returned in ISO 8601 format.

The details

  • GET /api/v2/projects supports deal_id, person_id and organization_id quick filters.
  • Archived projects have a separate list endpoint and an archive action.
  • Tasks use assignee_ids, an array, in place of assignee_id.
  • Deleting a project also triggers webhooks for child entities such as boards, according to the April 10 entry.
  • Project templates are read-only through the API.

Context

Pipedrive added Projects, automation monitoring and WhatsApp messaging to its CRM, announced May 26, 2026. The same day as this API release, it also added webhooks for deal products, installments and custom field definitions. A March 25, 2026 changelog entry added an Assignees field to the earlier Projects API. Projects in Pipedrive also gained notes support for tasks through the existing notes API, documented on May 21, 2026.
