Pipedrive announced on May 6, 2026 a Sydney-based data centre built on AWS. The company says the move cuts platform latency for Australian users by up to 60% and supports local data residency requirements, since Australian customer data had until then been hosted in the United States. Pipedrive also set up a new Australian business entity. Chief Product and Technology Officer Joe Futty said Australian customers increasingly expect their software to feel more local. The company says onshore storage removes a barrier for SMBs working with enterprise and government clients that often require onshore hosting.
The details
- Pipedrive cites more than 2.5 million SMBs in Australia and calls it one of its key global markets.

- The Sydney data centre will also serve customers in the wider Asia-Pacific region.
- The release said further infrastructure expansion was planned in Canada.
