Pipedrive adds webhooks for deal products, installments and field definitions

Pipedrive's May 21, 2026 changelog adds webhooks for deal products, deal installments and custom field schema changes, extra organization fields in payloads and label options on v2 deal, person and organization endpoints.

On May 21, 2026, Pipedrive published a changelog entry adding webhook coverage for deal products, deal installments and custom field definitions, plus several smaller API changes. Entity field webhooks track changes to the field schema itself, such as admins adding, renaming or deleting fields, rather than values on records. Organization payloads include additional firmographic fields when the related features are enabled on the account. Pipedrive says the deal product and installment webhooks are intended to keep order, billing and quoting tools in sync without polling deal endpoints.

The details

  • Entity field webhooks cover deal, lead, person, organization, product and project fields.
  • include_labels and include_option_labels parameters are added to GET /api/v2/deals, persons and organizations.
  • Custom field validation errors on v2 create and update endpoints now include the field_code.
  • The v1 Filters API adds an include_field_code parameter.
  • Notes can be attached to project tasks through the existing notes API.

Context

Pipedrive released Projects API v2 on the same day and added a Fields API v2 on December 10, 2025. In product news, Pipedrive launched a native MCP server on June 30, 2026 and acquired Outfunnel on August 5, 2026. The company's product announcements in the same month included Projects, automation monitoring and WhatsApp messaging, announced May 26, 2026, and a Montreal data centre on May 13, 2026.
