Pipedrive announced on May 26, 2026 new project management, automation monitoring and messaging capabilities in its CRM. Pipedrive Projects adds AI-generated project briefs that pull commitments, notes and files from sales history, Projects Insights for activity, workloads and progress, interactive Gantt timelines and mobile access. A Trust and Visibility dashboard and workflow health monitoring are meant to surface bottlenecks, failed automations and inefficient processes. A native WhatsApp integration lets teams manage WhatsApp messages inside the CRM, with chats linked to deals, contacts and leads. Chief Product and Technology Officer Joe Futty said sales does not stop when a deal is closed.
The details
- AI-generated project briefs aim to reduce manual handovers from sales to delivery.
- The WhatsApp integration supports templates and automated workflows for follow-ups.
- WhatsApp is in open beta for customers on Growth plans and above.
- Boost Transport president Justin Smith said the company previously ran five pipelines to manage delivery cycles.
- Pipedrive says more than 100,000 small and medium-sized businesses use its CRM.
