Metadata rolls out Budget Booster to all users and adds Salesforce sandbox support

Metadata's May 7, 2026 release makes Budget Booster available to all users after a limited rollout, adds Salesforce sandbox support for data extraction and tracks sponsored message clicks in reports.

Metadata.io released seven features on May 7, 2026. The availability change is Budget Booster, which moves from a limited set of accounts to all users. Salesforce sandbox environments are supported for daily and hourly extraction. Reporting adds sponsored message clicks. Several platform changes make audiences easier to manage, including renaming and opening audiences by direct URL, and creative assets can be sorted by created date. A Dismiss All button closes popup notifications together. The release notes do not explain Budget Booster's function.

The details

  • Budget Booster was previously limited to a subset of accounts.
  • Salesforce sandbox accounts use the sandbox URL automatically for extraction.
  • Sponsored message clicks appear across campaign performance reports.
  • Audiences can be renamed and opened directly by URL.

Context

The May 7 release followed an April 23 update that extended Metadata's Bid Agent to all LinkedIn campaigns and added Reddit ad creation through its MCP server. Two weeks later, Metadata added daily CRM integration health monitoring and Google Ads targeting groups. Metadata's covered releases include X campaign management and finer LinkedIn company-size targeting on July 2, 2026, and G2 Buyer Intent token validation and LinkedIn permission checks on September 24, 2026.

Not disclosed

  • What Budget Booster does and how it allocates spend
