Metadata extends its Bid Agent to all LinkedIn campaigns and adds Reddit ads via MCP

Metadata's April 23, 2026 release extends its Bid Agent to suggested bids across all LinkedIn campaigns, supports Reddit ad creation through its MCP server and updates its HubSpot integration for a list API sunset.

Metadata.io published eight features and seven fixes on April 23, 2026. AI-related changes cover the Bid Agent, which now reads suggested bids across every LinkedIn campaign, and the MCP server, which can now create Reddit ads. The HubSpot integration was updated to current API standards ahead of HubSpot's sunset of its Contact Lists API v1. Audience targeting changes add Facebook city targeting and Reddit MAID matching, and search terms export is now enabled by default.

The details

  • Bid Agent suggested bid extraction covers all LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Reddit ad creation is supported through Metadata's MCP server.
  • HubSpot is discontinuing its Contact Lists API v1, according to the release notes.
  • Reddit custom audiences now sync mobile advertising IDs alongside hashed emails.
  • Facebook native audiences can target by city in addition to country and state.

Context

Metadata's March 26, 2026 release added MCP tools for negative keyword lists and CSV audience imports, and the April 23 release extended the MCP server to Reddit ads. Later releases added Google Ads targeting groups and LinkedIn follower ads in May. Metadata's covered releases include X campaign management and finer LinkedIn company-size targeting on July 2, 2026, and G2 Buyer Intent token validation and LinkedIn permission checks on September 24, 2026.

Not disclosed

  • Whether the Bid Agent applies bids automatically or only suggests them
  • Which AI assistants Metadata's MCP server has been tested with
  • Whether customers need to reconnect HubSpot after the API update
