Metadata adds MCP tools for negative keyword lists and CSV audience imports

Metadata's March 26, 2026 release adds MCP capabilities to assign negative keyword lists to existing campaigns and import list-account audiences from CSV, plus device-type reporting and budget group funnel filters.

Metadata.io published a four-feature release on March 26, 2026. The release notes tag two items as MCP: assigning negative keyword lists to existing campaigns and importing list-account audiences from CSV files. Reporting gains a device type dimension and budget group filtering in account funnel reports. The release is among the earliest entries on Metadata's release notes page that reference its MCP server, which later gained Reddit ad creation on April 23, 2026.

The details

  • Negative keyword lists can be assigned to campaigns after creation.
  • List-account audiences can be bulk-imported from CSV files.
  • Device type reporting covers mobile, desktop, tablet and other categories.
  • Account funnel reports can be filtered by budget group.

Context

Metadata's release notes page begins on March 12, 2026 with campaign alerts and ad schedule updates. Within weeks the company added LinkedIn Buyer Groups targeting on April 2 and extended its MCP server to Reddit ads on April 23.
