Common Room announced on February 24, 2026 that it now connects to Claude, in a post by CEO and co-founder Linda Lian. As part of Anthropic's Cowork and plugin announcement that day, Common Room introduced an enterprise MCP Connector and a Claude Plugin. The company says the connector embeds Common Room into Claude using SSO and SAML authentication, letting RevOps teams and power users reference unified buyer intelligence, including first, second and third party signals, AI identity resolution, and CRM, enrichment, product and engagement data. The Claude Plugin brings sales skills into Claude Cowork for researching prioritized accounts, drafting outreach and surfacing risk and opportunity signals.
The details
- The MCP Connector uses SSO and SAML authentication.
- Connector context includes first, second and third party signals and continuously updated account and contact data.
- The Claude Plugin is built for sales teams and runs in Claude Cowork.
- Plugin workflows include account research, outreach drafting and risk and opportunity surfacing across a book of business.
- Common Room frames the release around fragmented buyer signals across CRM, enrichment, product telemetry, call intelligence and intent tools.
Context
The Claude release followed Common Room's BuyerCaddy technographic data (January 14, 2026) and DataAgent for CRM data hygiene (January 27, 2026). Common Room later released a CLI and added write actions to its MCP server (May 27, 2026). Zoom agreed to acquire Common Room on July 2, 2026, and Common Room later outlined its products under Zoom ownership (September 16, 2026).
