Attio releases App SDK 1.0 and lets teams rename system objects

Attio's August 25, 2026 changelog releases App SDK version 1.0.0, adds API endpoints for meetings, record merges and value history, lets teams rename system objects, and adds Google Sheets, Asana and Hunter workflow apps.

On August 25, 2026, Attio published changelog entries for its developer platform, object naming, Workflows apps and blocks, the sidebar and a digest of smaller changes. The developer entry lists six API and MCP additions, a Zapier trigger for new call recordings, the 1.0.0 App SDK release and a new Developer Changelog. Separate entries cover renaming system objects and connecting Google Sheets, Asana and Hunter to Workflows, and a digest adds native dictation in Ask Attio.

The details

  • The App SDK reached version 1.0.0.
  • The API supports creating meetings and call recordings, including transcript-only uploads from Granola.
  • Records can be merged through the API or MCP in the same way as the in-app merge.
  • System objects such as Deals, Workspaces and Users can be renamed with new icons.
  • Workflows apps were added for Google Sheets, Asana and Hunter.

Context

Attio introduced its Developer Platform with an App SDK in November 2025 and released an MCP server in February 2026. This changelog marks the SDK's 1.0.0 release. In the same period Attio rebuilt Workflows in June, added formula attributes in July and launched a workflow history and agent log in September, followed by a SQL Engine and Data Connectors in October 2026.

Not disclosed

  • Deprecation policy for pre-1.0 SDK versions
  • Plan requirements for the new API endpoints
  • Whether renamed objects change API identifiers
