Attio added formula attributes in a changelog entry dated July 28, 2026. The company describes them as calculated fields that update automatically from existing CRM data. Example uses listed in the entry are deal risk alerts, tracking account health over time, lead scores that update as new signals arrive and weighted pipeline values that recalculate as deals move. Formulas work in workflows, reports and sequences, and attribute history functions show how data has changed over time. Users can describe a formula in plain language and have Attio build it. The feature is available on Pro and Enterprise plans.

The details

  • Formula attributes are calculated fields that recalculate automatically from CRM data.
  • Formulas can be used in workflows, reports and sequences.
  • Attribute history functions expose how a value has changed over time.
  • Users can describe a formula in natural language and Attio generates it.
  • Attio scheduled a live session on August 5 covering weighted pipeline, lead scoring and a custom pricing calculator.
  • The feature is available now on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Context

This follows Attio's June 9, 2026 rebuild of Workflows around AI agents and natural-language setup, which formulas now plug into. Earlier in 2026 Attio launched Ask Attio for natural-language CRM search and released an MCP server in February. Its next item in our coverage, on September 23, added workflow history and an agent log.

Not disclosed

  • A list of supported functions and operators
  • Limits on the number of formula attributes per workspace
  • Whether lower-tier plans will get the feature
  • Performance limits on large datasets
