Attio makes Claude Sonnet 5 the Ask Attio default and adds workflow task blocks

On July 28, 2026, Attio published changelog entries on AI models, workflow blocks, mobile performance and a digest of other changes. The models entry changes the default model in Ask Attio and lists four additions available across Ask Attio and Workflows. The workflow blocks entry describes chaining Find tasks, a Custom Agent and Create note to write results onto records. The digest adds App Store filtering by capability, App SDK changes, call recording exports and per-workspace webhook isolation.

• Claude Sonnet 5 is the new Auto default model in Ask Attio.
• GPT 5.6 Terra and Sol, Gemini 3.6 Flash and Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite were added to the model picker.

Context

On the same date Attio introduced formula attributes on Pro and Enterprise plans, which we covered separately. Ask Attio launched on February 4, 2026 with model updates in February and June, and Workflows was rebuilt around AI agents on June 9, 2026. In October 2026 Attio launched a SQL Engine, Data Connectors and Agent Scale.
