Attio rebuilds Workflows around AI agents and natural-language setup

Attio released a new version of Workflows that builds automations from a description and adds a Web Agent and custom agents as workflow steps.

Attio published a changelog entry on June 9, 2026 introducing a rebuilt Workflows product designed to turn repeated tasks into automations that run on their own. According to the changelog, users can describe a workflow in plain language and Attio builds it, assembling agents, triggers and actions ready to run. Teams can use Attio's Web Agent for research or build their own Custom Agent to qualify leads, brief meetings and draft next steps. Tools including Notion, Linear and Fin can be plugged into any workflow as native blocks or through the Model Context Protocol. The entry is tagged as a design change, a new feature and an enhancement.

The details

  • Users can ask Attio to build a workflow from a natural-language description.
  • Workflows can include agents, triggers and actions.
  • The Web Agent handles research, and Custom Agents can be built for tasks such as lead qualification and meeting briefs.
  • Notion, Linear and Fin are named as tools available as native blocks or through MCP.

Context

The rebuild draws on Attio's earlier 2026 releases in our coverage: Ask Attio for natural-language CRM search in February, an MCP server for AI clients the same month and an upgraded web research agent with confidence ratings and citations in March. Attio later added formula attributes that work inside workflows on July 28 and workflow history and an agent log on September 23.

Not disclosed

  • Plan availability and pricing
  • Usage limits or credits for agent steps
  • Migration path for workflows built in the previous version
  • The full list of native blocks
