ZoomInfo launches AI Builder Catalog dataset for technical recruiting

ZoomInfo released the AI Builder Catalog, a dataset that enriches candidate profiles with open source, research, patent and competition signals for AI hiring.

On November 18, 2025, ZoomInfo announced the AI Builder Catalog, a dataset within ZoomInfo Talent Solutions aimed at recruiters hiring AI engineers and researchers. The company says it enriches candidate profiles with what it calls Proof-of-Work Signals drawn from open source contributions, academic publications, patent filings, competition wins and community influence. ZoomInfo says the dataset links research papers, code repositories, model hubs and patents to individual candidates. Jon Bischke, general manager of ZoomInfo Talent Solutions, said the company tracks code commits, published papers and granted patents rather than self-reported skills or endorsements.

The details

  • Cross-platform entity resolution links papers, repositories, model hubs and patents into one view per candidate.
  • Data sources named include open source sites, NeurIPS, ICML, arXiv, USPTO and technical communities, which ZoomInfo says are continuously updated.
  • Talent graphs use proof-of-work, influence metrics and recency of contributions.
  • Recruiters can search niche domains such as multimodal AI, retrieval systems or AI safety research.
  • The dataset can enrich existing candidate profiles in applicant tracking systems.

Context

This is the earliest ZoomInfo story in our coverage and its first in recruiting. The next Talent Solutions release we covered was Talent Autopilot for autonomous candidate discovery on September 21, 2026. Most other ZoomInfo coverage concerns GTM data, including a GTM MCP connector for Copilot Studio (August 11, 2026), the DoubleO.ai acquisition (October 1, 2026) and an Exa integration through GTM.AI (October 23, 2026).

Not disclosed

  • Number of profiles in the catalog
  • Which ATS platforms are supported for enrichment
  • How candidate consent and privacy apply to the scraped signals
