ZoomInfo cuts about 600 roles and closes its Israel site in restructuring
An 8-K filing disclosed a restructuring affecting about 600 roles, roughly 20% of headcount, with $45M to $60M in charges and about $60M in annual run-rate savings.
ZoomInfo disclosed in an 8-K filed May 11, 2026 that its board approved a restructuring program on May 5. The plan affects about 600 employees globally, roughly 20% of headcount at the end of the first quarter, and includes closing the company's Israel site. ZoomInfo expects $45 million to $60 million in pre-tax charges and about $60 million in annual run-rate operating expense reductions once the program is in place.
The details
- About one quarter of the affected roles will be reallocated to or offset by hiring in other locations.
- About 340 people in the U.S., India and the U.K., mainly in go-to-market and general and administrative roles, were notified on May 11.
- Some Israel positions will move to the U.S., Canada, Ireland and India, others will be eliminated, and some Israel staff may stay for several months during the wind-down.
- Most charges are expected to be cash, mainly severance, and to fall in the second and third quarters of 2026, with the program substantially complete by the end of 2026.
- Affected employees receive cash severance, some equity acceleration for unvested awards, and medical premium subsidies for enrolled U.S. staff.
- The filing cites a move upmarket, customer demand for consumption-based pricing and enterprise demand for forward-deployed engineering.
Context
The restructuring preceded a series of ZoomInfo product releases. On June 2, 2026 the company made its GTM.AI API and MCP layer generally available, and on June 8 it published a Claude connector built on that layer. In August ZoomInfo reported second-quarter revenue of $310.4 million along with a $650.5 million goodwill impairment. In October it acquired agent orchestration startup DoubleO.ai, launched Agent Teams in GTM Studio, and was named a flagship data partner for Salesforce's Hunter outbound agent. The 8-K says savings will fund investment in the platform, product roadmap and customer-facing engineering.
