WRITER releases Palmyra X6 model and agent harness upgrades

WRITER released Palmyra X6, a new model it describes as its flagship, together with a rebuilt harness for WRITER Agent. The press release is dated August 13, 2026. Palmyra X6 is post-trained on the open-weight GLM 5.2 model and priced at $2 per million input tokens and $8 per million output tokens. WRITER also added support for third-party and customer-supplied models plus new usage and spending controls for administrators. The company says all features are available to customers now.

Context

WRITER builds its own Palmyra models and sells an agent product to enterprise marketing and revenue teams. The release does not name earlier Palmyra versions, though it refers to five years of model work and describes the agent harness as rebuilt. Opening WRITER Agent to Anthropic, OpenAI and customer-hosted models means customers are no longer limited to Palmyra inside the product. About a month later, in September 2026, WRITER introduced Enterprise Brain, a context layer for its agents.
