WRITER announced new agent capabilities on March 25, 2026. A Skills creator and an enhanced Playbook builder let non-technical employees describe workflows, expertise and desired outcomes in natural language and generate agent capabilities that can be shared across teams. Users can also paste an existing process document and convert it into executable Playbook instructions. The release added shared Voice profiles, more third-party Connectors and a library of more than 200 enterprise Skills. WRITER says all capabilities include role-based access control, audit trails and data privacy protections, and that they are available immediately to all WRITER enterprise customers.
The details
- The Skills creator builds a Skill package with documentation, scripts and icons from a plain-language description.
- Skills can be shared with individuals, teams or company-wide.
- Playbooks can be triggered by events or set routines and pull in Skills, Connectors, knowledge and brand Voice.
- Named Connectors include Snowflake, HubSpot, Asana, SharePoint and Slack.
- WRITER says customers have deployed more than 5,000 playbooks.
Context
The release builds on WRITER Agent with Playbooks, Routines and Connectors, launched November 18, 2025. It came a month after WRITER appointed Brian O'Reilly as its first COO (February 24, 2026). Later updates added event triggers from Gong, Google Calendar and Drive to Playbooks (April 30, 2026), the Palmyra X6 model (August 13, 2026) and the Enterprise Brain context layer (September 9, 2026).
