WRITER launches WRITER Agent with Playbooks, Routines and Connectors
WRITER unveiled WRITER Agent, which combines its Action Agent and Ask WRITER chatbot into one interface, with new Playbooks, Routines, Connectors and Personality features.

On November 18, 2025, WRITER announced WRITER Agent, which combines its autonomous Action Agent, released in beta the previous summer, with its Ask WRITER chatbot in one interface with two modes. The company says users can go from quick questions to data-driven deliverables such as documents, spreadsheets, presentations and dashboards. The agent runs on WRITER's Palmyra X5 model. New capabilities include Playbooks for repeatable workflows, Routines for scheduling them, Connectors for acting in business systems through a WRITER-built MCP gateway, and Personality settings for voice. CEO May Habib framed the release around consistent, compliant messaging across large sales teams.

Context
This is the earliest WRITER story in our coverage. Two weeks later, on December 2, 2025, WRITER added Amazon Bedrock models and an agent supervision suite. Playbooks were extended in 2026 with an agent Skills creator and a library of 200 business Skills (March 25) and event triggers from Gong, Google Calendar and Drive (April 30). WRITER released Palmyra X6 on August 13, 2026.
