WRITER announced on February 24, 2026 the appointment of Brian O'Reilly as its first Chief Operating Officer. He will lead the global cross-functional operations behind WRITER's customer journey, from initial strategy to scaled adoption, and drive alignment across product, sales, marketing and customer success. O'Reilly joined WRITER in 2024 and led its international expansion, building the team that signed customers including AstraZeneca, Currys and Vodafone. According to the company, WRITER's international team drove record ARR growth under his leadership. He will continue to oversee WRITER's EMEA hub as site lead while scaling that operating model globally. CEO May Habib is quoted.

The details

  • O'Reilly is WRITER's first COO.
  • He joined WRITER in 2024 and led international expansion.
  • He remains EMEA site lead.
  • WRITER says he has more than a decade of experience in C-level go-to-market roles.
  • Customers named from his international work include AstraZeneca, Currys and Vodafone.

Context

This appointment came about six weeks after WRITER named Mina Alaghband its first chief customer officer (January 14, 2026), which the release references. A month later WRITER released an agent Skills creator and a library of 200 business Skills (March 25, 2026). Both executive hires are first-time roles at WRITER and are framed around customer adoption of WRITER Agent and its Playbooks, Routines and Connectors.
