Qualified moves Mailbox email to new sending infrastructure with a DNS migration wizard
Qualified announced on September 10, 2026 that Qualified Mailbox users are moving their AI SDR agent's email to new sending infrastructure, using a guided wizard to publish and validate new DNS records.
On September 10, 2026, Qualified posted that Qualified Mailbox, the sending option for Piper's email, is moving to new infrastructure and that affected customers must migrate their DNS records. A wizard generates the new records, checks propagation and confirms that mail flows in both directions before allowing cutover. Because DNS is set per domain, multiple AI SDR profiles sending from the same domain cut over together. Qualified notes that DNS owners and Qualified admins are often different people and recommends involving both at the start.
The details
- Four steps: publish new DNS records, send and reply to a test email, cut over, delete old records about a week later.
- Qualified recommends budgeting about a week and a half end to end.
- Sending address, existing conversations and Qualified configuration stay the same, according to the company.
- Applies to customers who see an Update Required badge on the Qualified card in Connected accounts.
Context

Two weeks after this notice, on September 24, 2026, it added silence-based and field-change triggers to Piper Email. Qualified also let customers train custom voices for Piper on October 22, 2026, and Salesforce completed its acquisition of the company on April 1, 2026.
