Oracle Eloqua 26B adds conversational subject line generation
Eloqua 26B adds a multi-turn conversational experience for generating email subject lines, with reference documents for brand context.
Oracle's What's New documentation for Eloqua update 26B, dated April 29, 2026, describes a conversational experience for generating email subject lines. Users can refine suggestions over multiple turns and attach a reference document, such as brand guidelines, prior templates, approved messaging or a campaign brief, to ground the output in their own materials. Oracle says the capability is available only in the Redwood Email Source (HTML) editor and will be rolled out gradually to customers with generative AI enabled for Eloqua after the 26B release. The Redwood HTML editor itself is in controlled availability and requires a service request through Oracle Support.
The details
- Once the Redwood HTML Email Editor is enabled, no additional setup is needed for the conversational experience.
- Oracle recommends starting with audience, offer, tone and length, then refining with follow-up instructions.
- Oracle advises treating outputs as drafts and reviewing for brand compliance, legal language and deliverability.
- The documentation cautions against attaching sensitive, confidential or regulated data unless company policy allows it.
Context
This is one of three Eloqua 26B items in our coverage published on April 29, 2026, alongside Redwood navigation and a new admin permission that controls access to generative AI features. It follows the 26A update in January, which added a Program Template Manager in Redwood. The 26C update in July brought a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales app in controlled availability and enhanced email auto-click detection.
