Oracle Eloqua 25D adds SSO-only login, bot click detection and Frankfurt AI processing

Oracle's Eloqua 25D release, scheduled for November 2025, adds an SSO-only login option, a bot click detection service, European processing for generative AI, contact change tracking in controlled availability and Salesforce app updates.

Oracle published the Eloqua 25D What's New document on October 22, 2025, for a release it says arrives in November 2025. The release spans AI, analytics, security, campaigns, contacts, editors, email deliverability and the Salesforce integration. Several items, including contact change tracking, AI editing options and the Redwood HTML email editor, require a service request. The SSO-only setting is optional and overrides user-level login preferences when enabled. The Webhook app's PUT and PATCH support was scheduled for the CX Apps 25.10 release on October 17, 2025.

The details

  • Oracle says its generative AI features use pre-trained models not trained on customer data.
  • With SSO-only enabled, credential logins and basic-auth API calls are rejected; OAuth API calls are accepted.
  • Campaign permissions split into Multi-Step Campaigns and Simple Campaigns, with existing settings migrated automatically.
  • Admins can choose global or group-level processing for the List-Unsubscribe header; group remains the default.
  • The Webhook app adds HTTP PUT and PATCH methods.
  • Oracle Content Management configuration areas are removed ahead of its December 31, 2025 sunset.

Context

This release precedes 26A in January 2026, which added a Redwood Program Template Manager, and 26B in April 2026, which added Redwood navigation and generative AI controls. Contact change tracking introduced here in controlled availability became generally available in 26C in July 2026. The 25D document was first published on October 22, 2025, shortly before the review period began.
