Cognism announced HubSpot 2-Way Sync on February 17, 2026, a native integration that syncs contact and company data in both directions between Cognism and HubSpot. The company says users can see whether a contact or company already exists in HubSpot, export new records with one click from the web app search or the browser extension, and have customer-specific opt-outs ingested so those records are suppressed. Users can filter searches to exclude records already in the CRM or include them for enrichment. Cognism says the sync is meant to reduce manual entry, duplicate records and stale data, and that it lays groundwork for enhancements to its enrichment products later in the year.

The details

  • Sync is bi-directional for contact and company records.
  • Exports work from both the Cognism web app search and the browser extension.
  • Customer-specific opt-outs from HubSpot are ingested to suppress records.
  • Exclude in CRM and Include in CRM filters support net-new prospecting or enrichment.
  • Cognism projects 50 to 70 percent faster prospect-to-CRM entry, up to 80 percent fewer duplicates and 20 to 30 percent more SDR outreach per day.
  • John Herbert, Director of Product Management, is quoted.

Context

This is the second Cognism item in our coverage, after the appointment of BBD Perfect Storm as lead creative agency on February 2. The release said it laid groundwork for enrichment enhancements, and Cognism later launched CRM Enrichment for Salesforce with Job Change Detection in July and made CRM Enrichment generally available with an MCP connection in October 2026.

Not disclosed

  • Which Cognism plans include the sync
  • Whether HubSpot field mapping is configurable
  • How the projected percentages were measured
  • Credit usage for exports
