Adobe Marketo Engage January 2026 release extends Email Designer and Interactive Webinars
Adobe's January 2026 Marketo Engage release, starting January 30, 2026, adds brand asset prompting to the Email Designer AI Assistant, folders and multi-level bullets, plus new Interactive Webinars pods and an SEO feature deprecation.
Adobe published Marketo Engage release notes for January 2026, with standard release cycle features starting to roll out on January 30, 2026. Five Email Designer features are marked as released, including an AI Assistant enhancement. A separate section lists Interactive Webinars features released outside the standard cycle. The announcements section notes the planned deprecation of the SEO feature, completion of the community migration to Adobe Experience League, and revised end dates for the REST API access_token parameter and the SOAP API.
The details
- The Email Designer AI Assistant accepts brand assets in a prompt as a reference for generated content.
- Email Designer assets, including emails, templates and fragments, can be organized in folders.
- Interactive Webinars adds a Survey Pod and a Resources Pod that replaces the Files and Web Links pods.
- The SEO feature is scheduled for deprecation on March 31, 2026, with an option to export data.
- The access_token parameter end date moved to August 31, 2026 and SOAP API support to July 31, 2026.
Context
This is the first Marketo Engage release of 2026 and continues a run of Email Designer updates that began with the October 2025 release. Our earlier coverage of Marketo Engage since October 2025 has focused on Dynamic Chat changes in March 2026 and the November 2026 release that lists Callable Agents. The January notes also revise API retirement dates that Adobe first published in the October 2025 release.
