Adobe makes Marketo Engage MCP server generally available and renames Marketo AI

Adobe's August 2026 Marketo Engage release, starting August 14, 2026, makes the Marketo Engage MCP server generally available, begins a phased rollout of a refreshed interface and renames Marketo AI as Coworker for Marketo Engage.

Adobe published release notes for the August 2026 Marketo Engage release, with standard release cycle features starting on August 14, 2026. The MCP server, introduced in open beta in May 2026, is listed as generally available. The release also starts a phased rollout of a new interface and changes how archived folders handle smart campaigns. The announcements cover the Coworker rename, the end of the access_token parameter on August 31, 2026, a fix to Campaign Run ID formatting and the Merge Leads and static list limits.

The details

  • The Marketo Engage MCP server is generally available and exposes more than 100 operations.
  • The refreshed interface rolled out in phases through August and September and does not change functionality, according to Adobe.
  • Archiving a folder disables and deschedules all smart campaigns in that folder tree.
  • Marketo AI is renamed Coworker for Marketo Engage and is available to all users, Adobe says.
  • Campaign Run ID values are now returned in a numeric format in the REST API.

Context

Adobe introduced the MCP server and Marketo AI in open beta in May 2026 and added named AI skills in July 2026. The November 2026 release, which we covered on October 21, 2026, builds on the Coworker name with a Plan Campaigns skill and Callable Agents. Our coverage of Marketo Engage in this period also includes Dynamic Chat changes published in March 2026.

Not disclosed

  • Pricing or rate limits for MCP server usage
  • Which AI clients Adobe has tested with the MCP server
  • Whether Coworker features vary by edition
