Adobe Marketo Engage May 2026 release opens beta for Marketo AI and an MCP server
Adobe's May 2026 Marketo Engage release, starting May 22, 2026, opens beta access to Marketo AI agent skills and a Marketo Engage MCP server with more than 100 operations, and adds picklist management and Dynamic Chat updates.

Two AI features, Marketo AI and the Marketo Engage MCP server, are listed in open beta. Six other features are marked released, four of them for Dynamic Chat. The announcements explain a change to Social-related lead fields after API errors, a change to boolean field handling in API merges, and a September 30, 2026 limit on lead activity calls that reference large static lists.

- Marketo AI launched in open beta with two agent skills, and Adobe says more are coming.
- The MCP server exposes more than 100 operations across forms, programs, smart campaigns, leads, emails, snippets, lists and folders.
- Picklist Management lets admins specify allowed values for fields.
- Dynamic Chat adds typing indicators and a Missed chat status in person activity details.
- From September 30, 2026, Get Lead Activities and Get Lead Changes calls fail with error 1003 for static lists of 10,000 or more leads.
Context
This release introduced the AI agent skills and MCP server that Adobe developed over the following months. The July 2026 release added two named skills, and the August 2026 release moved the MCP server to general availability and renamed Marketo AI as Coworker for Marketo Engage.
