Adobe lists Callable Agents for Marketo Engage in November 2026 release notes

Marketo Engage release notes, updated October 21, list Callable Agents for smart campaigns and a Plan Campaigns skill for CX Enterprise Coworker, both marked coming soon.

Adobe's Marketo Engage release notes, last updated October 21, 2026, describe the November 2026 release, with standard release cycle features starting to roll out on November 6 and the rest arriving in phases over the following weeks. Two of the four listed features use AI. Callable Agents run as a flow step in smart campaigns, and a Plan Campaigns skill lets CX Enterprise Coworker turn a campaign brief into a program setup document. All four features are marked coming soon.

The details

  • Callable Agents act on a lead record from plain-language instructions and write results back to lead fields, with examples including normalizing lead data and flagging likely bots.
  • The Plan Campaigns setup document covers folder structure, smart campaigns, email configuration, tokens and a QA checklist, and the skill is configurable through markdown.
  • A Clone to This Program or Folder option becomes the first choice when selecting a destination for a cloned asset.
  • Enabling or disabling native CRM sync will send an alert to users subscribed to the CRM notification channel.
  • Adobe states that feature availability depends on the Marketo Engage edition and that features and dates are subject to change.

Context

The same release notes carry several announcements alongside the new features. The Grab Images from Web feature is deprecated as of the November release, which Adobe ties to security and privacy practices. API names for Custom Activity Attributes are now limited to letters, numbers and underscores. Since September 30, 2026, calls to the Get Lead Activities and Get Lead Changes endpoints that include a list ID return error 1003 when the static list holds 10,000 or more leads. Changes to Adobe Dynamic Chat are covered in a separate release notes document.
