Jasper adds Optimization Agent and SharePoint knowledge connectors

Jasper published its January 2026 product release in a blog post dated February 4, 2026 in our coverage. The release introduces Optimization Agent, which the company says brings search signals into the content workflow to improve relevance, structure and intent for traditional SEO and AI-driven discovery. Jasper says Agents can now pull context from the Knowledge Base, the web or specific URLs before execution, with Web Search and Knowledge Search as opt-in, visible capabilities. Knowledge Base Connectors sync SharePoint folders so edits, new files, renames and deletions flow into Jasper, and export integrations send finished content back to SharePoint. The release also updates Style Guide, Studio, image generation and API authentication.

Context

This is the second Jasper item in our coverage, after Grid for automated content pipelines in October 2025. Jasper extended its SharePoint support again in June alongside a Slack Agent, and added agent API endpoints, Workfront export and Google Drive sync in April. Later items include AI Visibility Workflows, the GEO Agent and GEO Hub in June, a Claude connector in September and agent versioning in October 2026.
