Jasper's September 2026 product update, published October 7, added Multiple Audiences, which combines one primary audience with secondary audiences in a single generation. Business and Enterprise workspaces can use up to four audiences per generation and Pro workspaces up to three. The update also adds competitor comparison and citation source types to GEO Hub, workspace defaults for Jasper MCP and the API, and agent versioning and output examples in Studio.
The details
- Multiple Audiences works in Agents, Chat, Canvas, Grid, the Jasper API and Jasper MCP.
- GEO Hub shows sentiment for tracked brands and sorts citations into seven source types, filterable by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity.
- Topic clusters in GEO Hub show how many AI answers mention a brand, split by provider.
- When no IQ is selected, the workspace default style guide, brand voice and audience apply automatically through Jasper MCP and, when enabled, the API.
- In Studio, users can attach an example output when creating an agent and test new agent versions before activating them.
Context
The update extends two recent Jasper releases in our coverage. Jasper launched GEO Agent and GEO Hub for AI search visibility in June 2026 and added a Product IQ catalog and a Claude connector in September. In August it promoted Tom Newton to CMO and hired Lauren Newman as CFO. The September update also adds source links and last-updated dates on brand voice, audience and style guide pages, and refreshes the API reference, OAuth guide and Postman collection.
