Avoma, which makes an AI meeting assistant and conversation and revenue intelligence software, announced ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for its Artificial Intelligence Management System in a post dated August 19, 2026. The post explains that the standard sets requirements for establishing, maintaining and improving an AI management system, including handling of bias, transparency and human oversight. Avoma says certification confirms its system was assessed against those requirements and points customers to its Security and Compliance Center for documentation.

The details

  • The certification applies to Avoma's Artificial Intelligence Management System under ISO/IEC 42001:2023.
  • Avoma lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and HIPAA as existing security and privacy commitments.
  • Customer data is encrypted at rest and in transit, according to the company.
  • Certifications and compliance documentation are published in Avoma's Security and Compliance Center.

Context

Avoma's product coverage in 2026 has centered on AI features, including AI Tasks in February, deal methodology scoring in March, weighted forecasts in April, OAuth-based MCP connections in July and a listing in Claude's connector directory announced September 1. The certification addresses governance of those AI capabilities. In October 2026 Avoma added scheduled prompts and pre-meeting briefs.
