Apollo named flagship data partner for Salesforce's Hunter outbound agent

Salesforce customers can use Apollo's 240 million contacts through Hunter without an Apollo subscription, via seven Apollo prospecting actions.

Apollo announced on September 15, 2026 that it is a flagship launch partner for Hunter, Salesforce's new outbound sales agent, ahead of Dreamforce. Salesforce customers can use Apollo's database of 240 million contacts through Hunter without an Apollo subscription. Hunter gains seven Apollo prospecting actions for researching accounts, finding prospects, enriching contacts and surfacing outreach signals. Mutual customers can connect an existing Apollo account. Hunter is in pilot, with general availability planned for November.

The details

  • The seven actions are Company Search, Company Enrich, Person Search, Person Enrich, Person Enrich with Mobile Phone, News Enrich and Job Posting Enrich.
  • Company Enrich adds size, industry, tech stack and funding stage, and Person Enrich adds a verified work email.
  • Apollo cites 98% email accuracy and says more than 600,000 companies use Apollo.
  • The integration is separate from Apollo's existing public listing on Salesforce AgentExchange.

Context

Apollo says the Hunter integration follows the recent launch of its Slack app for lead discovery and sequence work. Earlier 2026 items in our coverage include a beta ChatGPT app built on its MCP server in April, a connector for Perplexity Computer in June, and the hiring of a CFO in May and a chief product officer in August. Two weeks later Apollo launched its Intelligence Layer. Salesforce's Rohan Punamia said agents "are only as effective as the data they can access."

Not disclosed

  • Pricing for Salesforce customers using Apollo data through Hunter
  • Commercial terms between Apollo and Salesforce
