On October 29, 2026, Zoho announced a comprehensive update of Zoho Campaigns. The update introduces a redesigned campaign experience, a template editor rebuilt from scratch, faster contact imports and email sends, native WhatsApp marketing and support for AI agent workflows. Through MCP, compatible agents can coordinate multi-step tasks such as preparing a campaign, cloning a prior one or building a re-engagement segment, with review requirements set by the configured workflow and permissions.
The details
- WhatsApp support covers bulk campaigns using approved templates, trigger-based messages and steps inside automated workflows.
- Frequency capping limits how often a contact is messaged across email, SMS and WhatsApp.
- Zia Content Analyzer checks spelling, grammar and style in the template editor and drafts subject lines, preheaders and body copy.
- Zoho says internal testing shows sends of 100,000 emails up to four times faster and imports of 100,000 contacts up to five times faster.
- Paid plans start at $4 a month, and a free plan covers up to 500 contacts and 2,000 emails per month.
- SMS and WhatsApp carry no additional platform charge, and sending requires purchased credits.
