Zoho adds AI agents, a semantic layer and MCP access to Zoho Analytics
Zoho announced an agentic update to Zoho Analytics with ontology and semantic layers, an Ask Zia multi-agent assistant, custom data agents, an MCP server, a Claude plug-in and governance tools. Pricing is unchanged and plans now include LLM credits.

The update adds ontology and semantic layers that give AI agents business context, a reworked Ask Zia assistant built on six sub-agents, custom agents that can call MCP servers and other tools, and a workflow builder for agent-triggered actions. Zoho also introduced headless access through an MCP server, a CLI and a Claude plug-in, plus governance features. Cloud updates are available now, with some previews rolling out over four to eight weeks.

Context
The announcement comes about five weeks after Zoho launched Zia Chat as an AI interface across its applications on September 23, 2026. Zoho CRM's Q1 2026 update in March added Workqueue, Zia formula generation and support for more LLMs. Zoho issued a parallel release from Chennai the same day with pricing in Indian rupees.
