On December 17, 2025, RainFocus announced its Base Module, a toolkit for running small, repeatable events such as roadshows, kickoffs, field marketing, sales activations and webinars. The company says the module uses the same security, data privacy, single sign-on, integrations and marketing automation framework as the full RainFocus platform, so these events feed the same customer journey and Global Attendee Profile. After a one-time implementation, planners get a customized template and can run events on their own. Program governance lets an organization control which template elements other planners can edit. The module includes unlimited events and users.

The details

  • Event creation from ready-made and customized templates, with governance over editable elements.
  • Basic registration with pre-filled fields, discount codes and curated invitation lists.
  • Customizable landing pages and a no-code email builder.
  • Agendas with speaker and sponsor listings, plus automated and as-needed attendee emails with invite, calendar link and reminder tracking.
  • Hotel management for a room block at a single hotel during registration.
  • Supports on-site delivery and virtual delivery, whether live, simulive or on-demand.

Context

This is the earliest RainFocus story in our coverage. Base came up again on June 10, 2026, when RainFocus upgraded Base Webinar to unify virtual and in-person attendee data. Other coverage since includes the Nexus system of AI agents (January 20, 2026), MCP Profiles for AI agents (July 8, 2026) and a Sales Module for rep-driven event invitations (July 30, 2026), which also targets smaller, distributed event activity.
