RainFocus launches Sales Module for rep-driven event invitations
RainFocus released a Sales Module that lets reps nominate CRM contacts for events, with approvals, pass quotas and activity reporting. It syncs bidirectionally with CRMs such as Salesforce.

RainFocus launched the Sales Module on July 30, 2026, a part of its event marketing platform for managing rep-driven event engagement. Sales reps nominate contacts from their existing book of business, track approval status in the CRM and send invitations. Leaders can set and enforce pass quotas and attendance goals by team or region and limit free or discounted passes. The module syncs data in both directions with CRMs such as Salesforce across planning, the event and follow-up.
The details
- Reps can build personalized agendas for prospects and VIP accounts and invite contacts to ancillary events.
- The module includes meeting scheduling and content recommendations for reps.
- An Event Funding Engine tracks event revenue, such as ticket sales and internal department contributions, back to cost centers.
- Reporting shows invitation volume, meeting-scheduling activity and which invitation approaches lead to event engagement.
- Registration and session attendance flow back into CRM campaigns, and the company says the module feeds existing attribution models without replacing them.
Context
The Sales Module was RainFocus's third announcement in July 2026, after MCP Profiles for AI agent access to live event data on July 8 and Adobe Experience Manager connectors on July 14. In June the company upgraded Base Webinar to unify virtual and in-person attendee data. CEO JR Sherman said "Events are no longer a cost center with soft outcomes." At its CONNECT conference in July, Cvent announced Network Builder and other attendee networking tools for event marketers.
