Mutiny adds YouTube videos and editable link destinations to its Library
Mutiny's October 13, 2026 changelog lets users add YouTube videos to the Library as separate resources and change a website or Loom link's destination while keeping its resource link, folder and analytics.
On October 13, 2026, Mutiny expanded its Library with YouTube video resources and editable link destinations. The same day it added search by original filename and deduplication of re-uploaded videos. On October 14 it added pasting multiple YouTube links at once and routed website links placed in assets through the Library resource viewer, so updated destinations carry through. These changes shipped the same day as Mutiny's desktop recorder for meeting notes.
The details
- Supported YouTube watch and short links are added as separate resources with title and thumbnail.
- YouTube transcripts are outside this change.
- Website and Loom links can get a new destination under the Versions tab.
- Changing a destination keeps the resource link, folder and analytics.
- Older link versions cannot be restored, and raw URLs already placed in pages are not rewritten.
Context
These Library changes build on the August 28, 2026 release that added nested folders, per-resource analytics and share links. ForgeX Research covered Mutiny's desktop recorder on October 13, stakeholder search on October 21 and Notetaker meeting joins on October 22, 2026. Earlier, Mutiny's July 24 analytics redesign covered agent-built assets and projects.
