Mutiny shows where People details come from and keeps cleared fields empty

Mutiny's October 29 changelog adds source explanations on a person's profile, keeps cleared fields empty, adds Show more on People tabs and blocks publishing from an out-of-date editor.

On October 29, 2026, Mutiny listed five improvements in its changelog. Most concern the People records on an account, including how field sources are shown and how cleared fields behave. One changes publishing in the asset editor.

The details

  • Source hovers omit confidence percentages, dates and repeated source chains.
  • Users maintain fields they override themselves, and Allow research updates is no longer available.
  • Expanding a category on the People tab preserves its existing order.
  • The editor shows the connection state and prompts a reload when a newer version is published.
  • View all on Home opens the Templates page.

Context

Mutiny added stakeholder search to account People pages on October 21, 2026 and let Mutiny Notetaker join meetings from the desktop app on October 22, 2026.

Not disclosed

  • Whether existing cleared fields were reset by the change.
