Lusha adds company and LinkedIn data fields and splits news signals into seven types
Lusha's API v1.8.0, released February 18, 2026, adds seven company data points, LinkedIn-based person fields and seven granular news signal categories that replace its generic news event signal.
On February 18, 2026, Lusha published v1.8.0 of its API. The release adds new company fields to the Company API V2 and Prospecting Company Enrich API, adds LinkedIn enrichment fields to the Person API V2 and Prospecting Contact Enrich API, and changes the single-enrich companySize field from a range array to an object. It also replaces the generic newsEvent signal with seven news signal types that share one response schema and can be used as prospecting filters and webhook event types.
The details
- New company fields include linkedinFollowers, emailDomain, companyLocations, alternativeName, companyType and lushaPopularityTier.
- New person fields include xUrl, LinkedIn follower and connection counts, certifications, courses, awards and skills.
- companySize in single enrich now returns min, max and employeesInLinkedin instead of a range array.
- Seven news signal types replace newsEvent, including riskNews, financialEventsNews and productActivityNews.
- News signal types are subscribable through webhooks and available as Prospecting search filters.
Context
This release followed Lusha's Webhooks API on January 26, 2026, and its news signal types became subscribable webhook events. Later API work added contact and company lookalikes, Website Visitors and Decision Makers APIs, Tables, LinkedIn activity intent, and the waterfall enrichment, Buying Group, Signal Score and Recommendations APIs that ForgeX Research has already covered from July through October 2026.
