Informa TechTarget launches AI-driven Buyer Intelligence with person-level intent
Informa TechTarget launched Buyer Intelligence, which adds AI skills for pain points, messaging and persona analysis on top of its person-level intent data.
Informa TechTarget launched Buyer Intelligence on September 15, 2026, an AI-enhanced intelligence product built on its person-level intent data. The company says the data comes from directly observed signals from permissioned members of its B2B audience. Buyer Intelligence includes three AI skills: Pain Points, Pitch Assist, and Persona and ICP Intelligence. It is available in the Informa TechTarget Portal and through marketing automation, CRM and ABM platforms, as well as data clouds and modern data stack tools.
The details
- Pain Points surfaces the challenges buying group members are researching, based on the content they read, watch and attend.
- Pitch Assist generates account-level messaging guidance that links intent signals to pitch angles.
- Persona and ICP Intelligence ranks customer segments by current buying activity and flags potential new personas.
- The company cites about 58 million permissioned first-party audience members and more than 220 technology-focused properties.
- Use cases listed include buying group identification, sales messaging, ABM strategy, campaign amplification and content planning.
Context
Buyer Intelligence followed the company's August launch of a B2B AI Authority Index self-assessment for marketers. Our coverage later records an MCP server for Buyer Intelligence data on September 29 and an October 21 plan to integrate Buyer Intelligence into Demandbase by the first quarter of 2027. The release names no specific integration partners and does not describe how the product relates to existing Informa TechTarget offerings such as Priority Engine. CEO Gary Nugent said AI outcomes "will only be as strong as their inputs."
