HubSpot connector for Claude gains CRM write access and engagement history

HubSpot said on November 20, 2025 that its connector for Claude can create and update CRM records in public beta and can read engagement history such as emails, calls and meetings, now generally available.

On November 20, 2025, HubSpot's developer changelog described new capabilities for the HubSpot connector for Claude. Write access, in public beta, lets users create and update CRM records and log activities through natural language in Claude. Engagement history access, generally available, lets Claude read emails, calls, meetings, tasks and notes. HubSpot says the connector respects existing user permissions. Users must disconnect and reauthenticate to get the new capabilities, and a Super Admin must opt the account into the product update.

The details

  • Write access to CRM records is in public beta; engagement history access is generally available.
  • Bulk create and update is limited to 10 records per request.
  • Writes are attributed in the audit log to the user and the Claude connector.
  • Accounts with sensitive data enabled do not give the connector access to engagement data.
  • Available to HubSpot customers on all tiers with a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise).

Context

GTM Tech News covered HubSpot's agreement to acquire AEO platform XFunnel on October 31, 2025. The Claude connector update came weeks later. HubSpot gave its ChatGPT connector the same write access in February 2026 and made its remote MCP server generally available in April 2026. In September 2026 HubSpot and OpenAI expanded their partnership, also covered here.

Not disclosed

  • When write access would leave public beta
