Goody launches self-serve gifting MCP for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI clients
Goody released a self-serve MCP integration that lets users search its catalog of 600+ brands, get AI gift suggestions and send gifts from AI assistants. It requires a free Goody account.
Goody launched the Goody MCP on June 25, 2026, a self-serve gifting integration built on the Model Context Protocol. Users can search a catalog of more than 600 brands in plain language, receive AI-generated gift recommendations and see subtotal, shipping and estimated tax before any charge. Gifts go out by email or gift link, and recipients enter their own shipping details. The same connector URL works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients, and a free Goody account is required.
The details
- Named brands include Apple, Therabody, Le Creuset, JBL, Bombas and YETI.
- The MCP can connect to CRM, calendar and other MCPs to trigger gifts from events such as a closed deal, booked meeting or job change.
- Users can build contact lists for group sends and automated workflows.
- Controls include review of every gift before sending and daily budget limits.
- Goody says setup takes about five minutes with no engineering, and documentation is at developer.ongoody.com.
Context
The launch came one day after Sendoso opened a request-based beta of its own MCP server for AI agents to send gifts. In the month that followed, Goody released a HubSpot app and Salesforce 2.0 with workflow-triggered gifting. Earlier in June it made Company Stores generally available with international shipping. CEO Katy Carrigan said gifting wired into an AI stack "stops being an afterthought."
