Factors.ai makes its MCP server available as a hosted URL

Factors.ai released a hosted MCP URL that can be added as a custom connector in Claude or other MCP clients.

Factors.ai made its MCP server available as a hosted URL on June 9, 2026. Users add the URL as a custom connector in Claude or another MCP-compatible client, which gives the AI assistant access to Factors account and engagement data. The release log says setup takes about two minutes with a personal access token and removes the earlier need for a local package install. On the same day Factors.ai added read-only sharing of Scout chat conversations.

The details

  • The hosted MCP URL works with Claude and other MCP-compatible clients.
  • Authentication uses a personal access token, and setup takes about two minutes, according to the release log.
  • Scout chats are private by default, and switching a chat to Team generates a read-only link to its reports, canvases and visualizations.
  • On August 4, 2026, Factors.ai added MCP token regeneration from Settings, with the previous token invalidated immediately and a 24-hour wait before the next regeneration.
  • On August 20, 2026, Factors MCP gained the ability to pull saved reports into an LLM chat by name, including several reports at once.

Context

The hosted MCP release came in a busy week for Factors.ai. On June 5 it added open-web research to its Scout assistant using Perplexity, and on June 8 it shipped the first version of its multi-touch attribution Influence model and cut basic segment build times. Later releases built on the MCP server with token regeneration and saved-report access in August. In July the company added Scout Routines and an AI planner for research agents, then brought account timelines and agents into Salesforce and HubSpot, extending its data into other systems beyond AI assistants.
