Dun & Bradstreet joins IBM watsonx Orchestrate Agent Catalog via MCP
The D&B Commercial Graph is available in the IBM watsonx Orchestrate Agent Catalog through an MCP server.
Dun & Bradstreet announced on September 17, 2026 that the D&B Commercial Graph is available in the IBM watsonx Orchestrate Agent Catalog through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. According to the release, the integration gives AI agents built in watsonx Orchestrate secure access to verified business identity, relationships and risk context, anchored by the D-U-N-S Number. Dun & Bradstreet says organizations can use the data in near real time to run agent workflows across sales, marketing, procurement, compliance, finance, credit evaluation and master data management. The company frames consistent business identity as a requirement for moving agent workflows from prototype to production.
The details
- Sales and marketing use: identify, qualify and prioritize opportunities with verified company and contact data.
- Risk and compliance use: validate supplier and partner identity, ownership, risk exposure and compliance status.
- Finance and credit use: evaluate creditworthiness with commercial context and proprietary payment insights.
- The release cites a D&B AI Momentum survey finding 6% of businesses say their enterprise data is fully ready for AI at scale.
- Elizabeth Barrette of Dun & Bradstreet and Megan Grant of IBM are quoted.
